British esports organisation Tundra Esports were crowned Blast Slam IV champions on Sunday at Singapore Indoor Stadium, claiming US$300,000 after a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Team Falcons in the grand final. The intense series went the distance, with Tundra rallying from behind to secure the title before a crowd of 5,000 fans and a global audience spanning 50 territories and 15 languages, reaching 21.9 million views.
The US$1 million tournament shattered records, surpassing Blast Slam III in total watch time with 6.7 million hours consumed, and achieving a new peak viewership mark of 289,000. Twelve teams began their campaigns in October, with six advancing to the Singapore arena finals — Blast’s first-ever Dota arena show featuring players from 19 countries.
SEA representation was strong, highlighted by Indonesia’s Matthew “Whitemon” Filemon from Tundra and Singapore-based coach David “MoonMeander” Tan, who called the win a special homecoming. “South East Asian crowds are always the best — their energy and passion are unmatched,” said MoonMeander.
Blast Slam IV also marked the start of a multi-year partnership between Blast and the Singapore Tourism Board, ensuring four more arena events in the years ahead. The next stop on the circuit, Blast Slam V, heads to Chengdu, China (Dec 5–7), where Tundra will aim to continue their flawless 2025 Slam streak.
