TO keep the whole family entertained throughout the month of January, Astro has lined up a slew of programmes from various genres ranging from animation, comedy, fantasy and edutainment from now until Jan 19 on Astro Ceria, Xiao Tai Yang, Vaanavil, Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon!
In the spirit of the times, Astro is premiering a new series titled FamILY, which many Malaysians can identify with. The eight episodes programme which airs every Monday at 9pm from Jan 4, tells the story of Shahir, a contractor, his wife, Marissa, a housewife and their children Qalisha – a social media influencer wannabe and Iman, a kindergartener who find themselves under one roof with Shahir’s eccentric parents Fatimah and Rahman whose stay with the family is prolonged due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Norman Hakim, Fazlina Ahmad Daud, Razak Ahmad, Shakilla Khoriri, Qistina Raisah, and Ummar Dzariff star in this knee-slapper comedy series.
Also look out for more exclusive content from new members of the Kids Pack, Boomerang (channel 619) and Nick Jr. (channel 617) that was recently launched on Astro.

Astro Ceria (channel 611 HD and 631 SD) has launched a variety of new content such as Geng Gajet, featuring new young talents like Lion Chong and Alif Idham! Geng Gajet airs every Saturday at 9pm! Kids can also be immersed in the world of Ultraman Galaxy Fight: New Generation Chronicles, ‘transport’ to Japan with Tsurupika Hagemaru and Doraemon, ‘travel’ to Korea with The Tayo Movie: Mission Ace and enjoy excellent local animations like Didi & Friends, Robozeta and SMK Animasi.
On Astro Xiao Tai Yang (channel 304 HD and 344 SD), be entertained with programmes like Doo Doo Rhythm and Beat S2, Storytelling, Whee Wheels, Lucky Comes with Lion, Katuri Season 3, GG Bond: Racing, My Little Monkey King, Make Toys with Carton, and MOMO Paradise Season 12!
