Just days after the premiere of Friends Reunion, Courteney Cox and Ed Sheeran broke the internet with their recreation of the famous Monica and Ross dance routine from Friends.
The dance routine first appeared in season 6 of Friends when Monica (Courteney Cox) and Ross (David Schwimmer) resurrected their high school dance routine for a chance to be featured on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve on the eve of the year 2000.
Cox posted the hilarious clip on her Instagram with the caption, “Just some routine dancing with a friend...”
Both Cox and Sheeran smashed the routine but it ended with a topple to the ground.
Nonetheless, fans were delighted and the comments section were quickly taken over.
The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco wrote, “This is EPIC.”
Schitt’s Creek star Sarah Plevy commented, “I’ve never been more jealous of anything in my life.”
Ed Sheeran also shared the same clip to his Instagram and told his fans, “Had a reunion of our own this weekend.”
American singer Peet Montzingo commented, “THE COLLAB WE NEVER KNEW WE NEEDED.”
Courteney Cox and Ed Sheeran have been friends for nearly a decade with Ed introducing Courteney to her fiancé Johnny McDaid in 2013.
Monica and Ross’s dance routine is popular with fans so much so that fans have recreated the routine themselves over the years.

There is even a TikTok account proving how the dance routine fits just about any song.
