BLACKPINK’S Lisa and her fellow K-Pop girl group members were in the middle of a performance in the Philippines as part of their Born Pink World Tour, when the crowd suddenly turned the tables around.
Video clips shared on the internet show that the audience in Manila’s Philippine Arena started singing the Happy Birthday song to her.
Lisa was visibly happy and touched by the gesture. She was smiling when the crowd sang the birthday song to her.
Fans also created an ocean of yellow using their lightsticks. Yellow is the signature colour for Lisa, while red is for Jisoo, blue is for Jennie, and white is for Rose. But that night, the colour yellow lit up the whole event space as a sign of fans’ appreciation for Lisa
A five-tiered, purple and yellow cake was then presented to Lisa on stage.
It must have been an unforgettable moment for Lisa, who turned 26 year old that day, and for the crowd as well.
