Polis siasat dakwaan wanita Taiwan diperas ugut di SS2

KUALA LUMPUR: Polis Daerah Petaling Jaya telah memulakan siasatan berhubung dakwaan seorang wanita warga Taiwan diperas ugut oleh anggota polis semasa sekatan jalan raya di kawasan SS2.

Ketua Polis Daerah Petaling Jaya, ACP Shahrulnizam Jaafar, mengesahkan siasatan itu dibuka selepas kenyataan wanita tersebut tular di media sosial.

“Pemilik akaun Facebook yang juga wanita warga Taiwan memuat naik kenyataan bahawa dia diperas ugut semasa ditahan dalam sekatan jalan raya. Siasatan dijalankan di bawah Seksyen 384 Kanun Keseksaan bagi kesalahan pemerasan,“ kata Shahrulnizam dalam kenyataan rasmi.

Beliau menegaskan bahawa polis telah mengenal pasti anggota yang terlibat dan sedang menyiasat kes itu dengan teliti. “Kami mengambil berat dakwaan ini dan tidak akan bertolak ansur dengan sebarang salah laku anggota yang mencemar nama baik pasukan,“ tambahnya.

Oxford Innotech Bhd (OXB) has secured a second data centre contract worth RM4.8 million within three weeks from the same Australia-based client, via its subsidiary CG Solutions Enterprise Sdn Bhd. The project involves supplying critical steel infrastructure and precision metal components for an advanced airflow management system, with the end user being one of the world’s largest cloud and e-commerce platforms. With this latest win, OXB’s total data centre-related contract value now stands at RM9.6 million, with completion expected by end-2026.
