Trump says he has someone in mind to replace Fed Governor Cook

WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump stated he has identified a potential candidate to replace Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook, whom he intends to remove from her position.

“I think we have some very good people we’re down to,“ Trump said during a Cabinet meeting.

“I mean, I think I maybe, in my own mind, have somebody,“ he added.

“We’re dealing with a lot of people actually, that are going to be involved in that decision,“ Trump concluded. – Reuters
