Petra tambah baik proses kurangkan birokrasi projek TBB

PETALING JAYA: Kementerian Peralihan Tenaga dan Transformasi Air (PETRA) sedang menambah baik proses sedia ada bagi mengurangkan karenah birokrasi agar projek Tenaga Boleh Baharu (TBB) yang diperoleh melalui proses bidaan dapat dilaksanakan dengan lebih pantas.

Timbalan Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof berkata pelbagai faktor perlu diambil kira dalam merancang pelaksanaan peralihan tenaga selaras dengan sasaran yang ditetapkan di bawah Pelan Hala Tuju Peralihan Tenaga Negara (NETR).

Fadillah yang juga Menteri Peralihan Tenaga dan Transformasi Air berkata selain daripada teknologi yang memainkan peranan penting dalam perkembangan tenaga hijau, keboleharapan sistem dan pempelbagaian sumber penjanaan juga perlu dipertimbangkan.

Beliau menekankan bahawa Malaysia perlu memastikan faktor-faktor tersebut ditangani dengan berkesan memandangkan permintaan terhadap elektrik yang terus meningkat.

Kerajaan akan terus memastikan nilai-nilai ini dikekalkan melalui proses bidaan kompetitif dan dalam masa yang sama, menggalakkan inovasi daripada para pelabur.

Sasaran di bawah NETR adalah untuk mencapai kapasiti campuran TBB sebanyak 41 peratus pada 2035 dan seterusnya 70 peratus kapasiti terpasang menjelang 2050.

PETRA telah memainkan peranan aktif sebagai pemudah cara, penyelaras dan pemacu utama bagi menyokong dan mempercepat peralihan tenaga negara.

Pada Januari tahun ini, proses bidaan LSS PETRA 5+ bagi kapasiti solar baharu sebanyak 2,000 MW telah dibuka, iaitu antara kapasiti terbesar dalam sejarah negara.

Kerajaan juga mempermudah laluan untuk sektor swasta mendapatkan tenaga bersih secara langsung daripada pembekal melalui Program Tenaga Hijau Korporat (CGPP) dan Skim Pembekalan Tenaga Boleh Baharu Korporat (CRESS).

Langkah-langkah ini bukan sahaja akan dapat meningkatkan kapasiti TBB, tetapi juga membina keyakinan pasaran dan menarik pelaburan swasta. – Bernama
