BYD Malaysia, together with its luxury EV brand DENZA and official distributor BYD Sime Motors, is set to spark nationwide excitement with the first-ever BYD Tech Discovery Day, taking place from 14 to 16 November 2025 at Carpark 3, Plaza Arkadia, Desa ParkCity. The event promises Malaysians an immersive look into the future of intelligent and sustainable driving.
Carrying the theme “BYD Intelligence. Powering Malaysia Forward”, the showcase is more than just an exhibition of vehicles. It serves as Malaysia’s first-ever electric mobility technology tour, aimed at inspiring motorists, EV fans and tech enthusiasts to explore the next generation of automotive innovation.
As Malaysia’s top-selling battery electric vehicle (BEV) brand, BYD has built a strong reputation for its commitment to safety, accessibility, and cutting-edge engineering. From its groundbreaking Blade Battery and e-Platform 3.0 to intelligent performance systems that redefine comfort, BYD continues to lead the shift toward a cleaner, smarter automotive future.
For Sime Motors, the event holds added significance. Managing Director for Southeast Asia, Jeffrey Gan, said the occasion coincides with the company’s 45th anniversary and marks nearly three years since BYD first entered the Malaysian market. He highlighted the rapid growth of BYD’s presence, now encompassing over 40 outlets nationwide with a goal of reaching 50 by the end of 2026.
The network includes 12 Body & Paint Authorised Centres, a dedicated BYD Academy for technical training, and a centralised parts warehouse with over 4,600 line items and a 94% fill rate. With more than 24,000 BYD and DENZA owners across Malaysia, Gan described the event as a bold step forward in bringing intelligent, sustainable mobility to more drivers.
Visitors attending BYD Tech Discovery Day can look forward to an array of interactive experiences designed to highlight BYD’s engineering excellence. Guests can test drive and ride BYD and DENZA models, including demonstrations of the DMO technology on camel bridge and cross-axle challenges, performance acceleration tests, and even a 360° rotation turn and crabwalk with the DENZA Z9GT.
Technical experts will also host EV Dialogue Corners, providing visitors with insight into BYD’s Blade Battery technology, smart charging systems, and safety innovations. Exclusive promotions will be available throughout the event, with savings of up to RM20,000 on select models, trade-in offers reaching RM15,000, and lucky draw prizes worth up to RM38,888.
The event will also include a Lifestyle Zone complete with complimentary coffee, a children’s play area, and limited-edition BYD merchandise redemptions.
Running from 10.00am to 8.00pm, the three-day event is a celebration of performance, design, and innovation.
