Subang Jaya police are investigating a viral video of a trailer carrying a helicopter that got stuck on a slip road, causing major traffic congestion
KUALA LUMPUR: Police have launched an investigation into a viral video showing a trailer carrying a helicopter that caused a major traffic jam on a public road.
Subang Jaya district police chief ACP Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said a report was lodged regarding the video at 8.06 pm yesterday.
Preliminary investigations found the incident occurred on Dec 4 at 4.30 pm on a slip road from the Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS) heading towards Persiaran Kewajipan.
“The excessive length of the trailer’s load caused it to get stuck, causing traffic congestion and disrupting other road users,” he said in a statement.
He added that an ambulance was also caught in the resulting congestion.
Police have yet to identify the vehicle’s registration number and have opened an investigation paper.
Wan Azlan urged anyone with information to contact the investigating officer at the Subang Jaya traffic division to assist the probe. – Bernama
