White House says Musk criticism ‘doesn’t change’ Trump’s support for mega-bill

WASHINGTON: The White House defended US President Donald Trump’s huge tax cuts and spending mega-bill Tuesday after billionaire former aide Elon Musk blasted it as a “disgusting abomination.”

“The president already knows where Elon Musk stood on this bill, it doesn’t change his opinion. This is one big, beautiful bill, and he’s sticking to it,“ Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters.
