GODIVA marks 100 years of chocolate craftsmanship with centennial collections and exclusive promotions

PETALING JAYA: Belgian premium chocolatier GODIVA is celebrating its 100th anniversary with the launch of a range of limited-edition products and promotional activities, marking a century of chocolate craftsmanship, innovation and heritage.

Founded in 1926 by Pierre and Eugénie Draps, GODIVA has built a global reputation for combining Belgian chocolate-making traditions with creativity and innovation.

As the brand enters its second century, it is unveiling new collections, recipes and experiences designed to honour its legacy while looking towards the future.

At the centre of the centennial celebrations is the Centennial Praline Collection, a limited-edition assortment featuring 10 chocolates that reflect key milestones in the brand’s history.

The collection includes nine pralines inspired by significant moments from different eras of GODIVA’s journey, alongside a newly created chocolate developed specifically for the 100th anniversary.

Among the featured creations are the Dark & White Chocolate Lady Godiva (1926), inspired by the brand’s origins; Vintage Heart (1945), commemorating the opening of GODIVA’s first boutique in Brussels; Fabiola (1960), honouring Belgium’s Queen Fabiola; and Nippon (1972), celebrating the brand’s expansion into Japan.

The collection concludes with Heritage (2026), a new pistachio and almond praline featuring crisped rice and caramelised cocoa nibs, created as a tribute to founder Pierre Draps and to symbolise the beginning of GODIVA’s next chapter.

Priced at RM199, the Centennial Praline Collection will be available for a limited time at GODIVA stores nationwide.

In conjunction with the anniversary, GODIVA has also introduced a 100th Anniversary Limited Edition Plush Keychain Collection, inspired by some of its most recognisable pralines. The collectible series features plush versions of chocolates including Seashell, Égerie Noir and Coeur Blanc.

The plush keychains are available at participating GODIVA outlets nationwide, excluding KLIA stores, at RM49 per box. Customers who purchase the Centennial Praline Collection will receive a complimentary plush keychain while stocks last.

Adding to the celebrations, GODIVA has launched its Centennial Raspberry Soft Serve Collection, combining the brand’s signature Belgian chocolate with raspberry flavours.

The range includes Raspberry White Chocolate Soft Serve, Raspberry Dark Chocolate Soft Serve and Raspberry Dark Chocolate Twist Soft Serve. The desserts are priced at RM32 at participating downtown stores across East, North and South Malaysia, and RM33 at GODIVA outlets in Genting Highlands.

To further commemorate the milestone, the chocolatier is offering a special RM100 Centennial Deal, featuring selected combinations of popular products including G Cubes, Chocolate Pearls, Kids Collection items and Carré Collection assortments.

Customers purchasing any centennial-themed product will also be eligible to participate in an in-store activity called “Match the Chocolate Era”, where participants match pralines with their corresponding launch years for a chance to win exclusive GODIVA prizes.

The anniversary promotions and activities will run from May 27 to July 6 at participating GODIVA stores nationwide, excluding KLIA outlets.

The centennial campaign reflects GODIVA’s continuing commitment to blending heritage and innovation, while celebrating a century of creating memorable chocolate experiences for consumers around the world.
