The suspect had donned a tudung, sandals and even had henna on his toes.

A tudung-clad man was recently nabbed by members of the public after he was suspected of secretly recording women in a restroom at a retail outlet in Pasir Gudang, Johor.

The two-minute video posted by Jabatan Netizen Malaysia was uploaded to the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) showed the suspect being held by another man while he is interrogated by members of the public.

“Tell me your password now. Don’t you dare lie or I will smack you,” said the voice of a woman who could be heard off camera.

As the woman gets access to his phone, the other members of the public asked the suspect to show the rest of his ‘disguises’, which consisted of women’s sandals and henna on his toes.

They then get the suspect to wear the tudung and after much interrogation, he reveals that he is married and expresses shame over his actions.

However, his interrogator retorted by replying, “Aren’t you ashamed of entering the women’s restroom in the first place?”

The video which has so far garnered 2.2 million views has evoked the anger of netizens.

“Oh now he knows how to be embarrassed. But when he does such a lewd act, he doesn’t feel anything. To make matters worse, he’s married. I feel so bad for his wife,” commented one netizen.
