LOCAL cinema chain TGV Cinemas is marking the opening of its latest venue in Pavilion Bukit Jalil, with a focus on creating a more innovative, dynamic and immersive atmosphere to elevate the movie-watching experience.
The latest outlet boasts an impressive array of 16 halls and a total of 1,555 seats, each hall featuring 100% digital screen projection, plush recliner seats and generous legroom to ensure the utmost comfort.
In a family-friendly initiative, the local cinema chain has also collaborated with Mattel South Asia to introduce the largest City of Play, which spans a substantial 2,041 square feet.
Moreover, this new cinema location proudly holds the distinction of being the first cinema in Malaysia to offer IMAX with laser systems and 12-channel sound technology. This technology immerses movie-goers in a fully immersive, multidimensional experience, delivering brighter, more lifelike images with deeper, richer contrasts in colour.

The TGV Pavilion Bukit Jalil offers an extraordinary multisensory audiovisual entrance area, highlighted by an immersive floor-to-ceiling LED screen showcasing dynamic movie-related content.
Visitors are encouraged to relax and socialise in movie-themed relaxation areas specially designed for this purpose. High-speed Wi-Fi is also provided throughout the cinema, allowing guests to stay connected.
Apart from that, the new location includes three indulge halls, providing a premium movie-watching experience and two beanie halls, where movie-goers can enjoy films from comfortable beanbag pods.
