Two cars parked in no-parking zones in Kuala Lumpur were scribbled with sarcastic marker messages, sparking online reactions from amused netizens.
SOMETIMES, when encountering drivers who park their cars in areas that inconvenience everyone, people may feel the urge to do something about it but ultimately hold back as it may not seem worth the trouble.
However, one individual appeared to have had enough following the circulation of a Threads post showing two cars scribbled with sarcastic remarks after being found parked in no-parking zones.
Posted on Threads, both cars — a white Proton Saga and a white Perodua Waja — had messages written on them with marker pen calling out the drivers’ actions of parking the cars in those areas.
According to the post, both cars were parked in the Sri Rampai area in Kuala Lumpur.

One message on the Perodua Waja, which was parked directly on a zebra crossing, read: “Try parking somewhere else next time”.
Meanwhile, the message on the Proton Saga, which was parked in a towing zone, read: “Did you have to block a pedestrian crossing?”
Later in the comments section, the Threads account claimed to have seen the Proton Saga parked in the same spot from 6.30am until 5pm.
The Threads user also claimed that this was not the first time encountering cars parked in such areas and expressed their satisfaction at seeing someone call out the behaviour.
Netizens applauded the act, thanking the unknown individual for calling out the drivers, even if it was done in written form.
“Always carry a permanent marker with you, noted,” one user joked.
“It healed something in me seeing this,” quipped another.
Another user also shared an image of a different car scribbled with a message — believed to be parked in the same area. The message was also written with a marker pen and appeared to have similar handwriting to the messages on the other two cars.
