Malaysia’s fashion biggest night is back, and this time it is going for a “home run”.
For the first time ever, Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2026 (KLFW 2026) will roll out its carpet with the support of the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry and take its spot in the Visit Malaysia 2026 calendar.
Spotlight heritage and culture for its 14th edition, the event brings fashion back home with Destination: Home Ground through the lens of over 50 designers and labels.
From Aug 3 to 9, the Esplanade, KLCC Park will be “refashioned with a monochromatic, heritage-inspired facade, housing all-white runways and a fresh new layout”.

Styling itself to be a KL fashion hotspot, the iconic week entails activations by fashion students at Isetan KLCC, a visual exhibition of industry creatives by Moccona and a curated Jom Malaysia pop-up by the ministry, which offers a selection of homegrown brands.

Fashion fixtures Rizman Ruzaini and Fiziwoo are set to blow us away yet again with a double feature as Rizman Ruzaini present back-to-back shows. Meanwhile, Fiziwoo features Woo Brothers, the menswear extension of its main label.
Tailored to its theme, Muni, presented by designer Jeff Yeong, will showcase “textiles, traditions and techniques”; on the other hand, Tanoti debuts a collection at KLFW 2026.
The ministry participates in the beau monde event by reviving the Fashion Forward Batik Malaysia segment with a total of thirty looks from 10 local designers. These looks will be exclusively made with batik sourced from East and West Malaysia.
What the leaders are saying
“With Destination: Home Ground, KLFW 2026 is bringing Malaysian fashion back to its roots while propelling it into the future. We are zeroing in on our spaces and experiences, creating more ways to connect and celebrate our style, stories and culture. KLFW is more than just a series of visitors from all over gathering at our home ground to witness passion in action
“A platform of this scale is only possible through collaboration. We are grateful for the continued support of Suria KLCC and KLCC (Holdings) Sdn Bhd, along with our Principal Industry Strategic Partner, the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN), and our KLFW 2026 sponsors: Omoda & Jaecoo Malaysia, Panasonic Beauty, Tomei, L’Oréal Paris, L’Oréal Professionnel, Moccana and Daia.

“Sharing the same commitment to pushing fashion forward are our partners Bolon Eyewear, Isetan Kuala Lumpur, Magnum, Vida, LuasLink and Tricia Lew, while Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur and Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur return as our official hotels,” said Andrew Tan, founder of KLFW.
Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali, Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living, stated: “Our partnership with Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2026 is a flagship initiative of the newly rebranded ‘Jom Beli Produk Malaysia’ (Jom Malaysia) campaign. This transformation goes beyond a new name; it is about inspiring a deep sense of pride in Malaysian talent and creativity.
“Partnering with a platform like KLFW allows us to directly connect our homegrown fashion entrepreneurs with broader markets. Fashion is a dynamic economic force. When we choose to buy local, we aren’t just celebrating Malaysian style and innovation; we are actively driving national economic growth and uplifting our creative communities.”

Long-time partner Francis Tan, executive director and CEO of Suria KLCC Sdn Bhd, shared: “This year’s theme, Destination: Home Ground, beautifully mirrors our own commitment to championing local creativity.
“Rizman Ruzaini will be steering the official opening showcase of this 14th edition on Aug 3. Beyond the runway, our goal is to nurture an ecosystem where homegrown talent thrives, elevating Malaysian design innovation and creative expression onto a grander national scale. Suria KLCC remains the ultimate experiential destination where Malaysian culture, style and retail excellence seamlessly come together.”
