KUALA LUMPUR: A housewife pleaded not guilty at the Sessions Court here to a charge of abusing her five-year-old daughter.

Norshazlina Izamli, 22, is accused of causing injuries to her biological child at a condominium unit in Jalan Sentul Pelangi, Sentul on January 2.

The charge was framed under Section 31(1)(a) of the Child Act 2001.
