All highways towards Klang Valley see smooth traffic, but congestion expected from midday as holidaymakers return to the capital
KUALA LUMPUR: All highways heading towards the Klang Valley were experiencing smooth traffic flow this morning.
A spokesman for the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) said conditions are expected to start getting congested from midday into the evening, as people begin returning to the capital after the end of the school holidays and back-to-back public holidays.
“Drivers are advised to be cautious due to rain in several areas, including the Klang Valley and the southern region,” he told Bernama.
He also advised motorists to plan their travel times to avoid getting caught in traffic jams.
